Floorwash Ireland guarantees that your machine has been subjected to strict international standard controls in order to guarantee the highest possible quality. Should your machine operate incorrectly, please contact Floorwash Ireland so we can provide technical assistance with the use of original spare parts. 

Floorwash Ireland Warranty Conditions

  1. The warranty shall be valid for two years starting from the date of purchase as proven either by the sales receipt or invoice, or by an equivalent document issued at the moment of purchase.
  2. Failure to exhibit the documents proving the purchase date (sales receipt or invoice) shall entail the debit of all repair costs to the user.
  3. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for the loss of documents proving the purchase date and under no circumstances will duplicates be issued.
  4. This warranty covers the substitution or repair free of charge only of those parts recognised as defective on leaving the factory.
  5. Any parts damaged as a result of negligent or careless use, incorrect maintenance procedures, unauthorised maintenance procedures, or circumstances which are in no way due to defects of fabrication, are in no way to be considered covered by the terms of this warranty. Likewise, any connections to power supplies at voltage different from 220V are to be considered excluded from the terms of this warranty. 
  6. Floorwash Ireland Limited declines all responsibility for any direct or indirect damage which may accrue to persons or objects as a result of the failure to observe all the instructions specifically provided in the instruction guide, in particular the warnings regarding the use of the machine and corrosive detergents.
  7. All costs and risks incurred in the transport to and from authorised Floorwash Ireland Limited Distributors for repair shall be the exclusive responsibility of the user.
  8. This warranty shall expire two years after the date of purchase, and consequently any servicing carried out after this date shall entail the debit of the cost of the parts substituted according to the tariff of that time, together with labour costs.
  9. The substitution of the machine shall in no way give right to an extension of the warranty period.
  10. Floorwash Ireland Limited reserves the right to modify all data and conditions stated herein.

 

Limited Guarantee

Floorwash Ireland Limited guarantees that this machine has been subjected to strict international standard controls and therefore guarantees to the original purchaser (“the Buyer”) only that each machine shall be free from defects in material and workmanship upon delivery. Floorwash Ireland Limited’s liability and the Buyer’s exclusive remedy against Floorwash Ireland Limited is expressly limited, at the option of Floorwash Ireland Limited, to the repair or replacement by authorised Floorwash Ireland Limited distributors, provided that any necessary carriage is prepaid for by the Buyer.

This limited Guarantee expires one year from the date of purchase, with the exception of any electric motors in your machine which have a limited Guarantee of two years, and any brush motor belt in your machine, which has a three year Guarantee.  The Guarantee registration form is to be completed online at the time of purchase. Specific limitations and exclusions apply. Items not cover by the Guarantee include, but are not limited to:

  • Damages resulting from accidents, abuse, misuse or acts of God (lightning, flood etc.) 
  • Damage during carriage
  • Rental units
  • Failure due to lack of proper maintenance or care (including a yearly service)
  • Relatively minor adjustments such as tightening of screws or bolts, etc. (not connected with replacement of parts)
  • Repairs or alteration by an organisation or person other than an authorised Floorwash Ireland Limited distributor
  • Normal wear items such as handles, wheels, brushes, nozzles, hoses, paper bags, cords etc.

If after inspecting the returned machine or any part or parts, Floorwash Ireland Limited  ascertains that the defect is not covered by the guarantee, all expenses incurred by Floorwash Ireland Limited in connection with replacement or repair of the machine or any parts thereof shall be paid by the Buyer. Any part or parts returned to Floorwash Ireland Limited for replacement shall become property of Floorwash Ireland Limited. IN NO EVENT SHALL FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSS OF PROPERTY OR EQUIPMENT, LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, CLAIMS OF CUSTOMERS, OR HARM TO GOODWILL OR BUSINESS REPUTATION DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ARISING FROM THE SALE, HANDLING OR USE OF THE MACHINE CLEANER, OR FROM ANY OTHER COSTS RELATING THERETO AND FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED’S LIABILITY HEREUNDER. Floorwash Ireland Limited shall not be liable to the Buyer for any claims, damages, injuries, actions, or causes of action whatsoever based on negligence or strict liability.

Original spare parts shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days after installation and shall be subject in all respects to the limitations of this limited guarantee.

FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT ITS MACHINE CLEANER SHALL BE MARKETABLE OR THAT SUCH A MACHINE SHALL BE FIT FOR ANY OTHER PARTICULAR PURPOSE. MOREOVER, FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED GIVE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED GUARANTEE EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED GUARANTEE SET FORTH HEREIN. IN ADDITION, NO REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, MADE BY ANY FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRIBUTOR OR OR AGENT WHICH IS NOT SPECIFICALLY SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE BINDING FOR FLOORWASH IRELAND LIMITED.
